All this talk of getting Football back on the Television by Liverpool/SKY sycophants in MSM.

Even one, or two, of our own fans think it is the right time to start easing the lock down.

Seriously disturbing.

Do they realize,or even care, that this Virus is actually a Bio-Weapon.It has been described as being like an airborne AIDS virus.It is still mutating in to different strains of the virus.Nobody has of yet been fully cured of this virus,some that appeared to have recovered have later died.You become infected it is yours for good,until it decides if it wants to kill you later,or not.

AND THERE IS STILL NO VACCINE AGAINST IT.

Nobody knows what the long term implications are for those that have been infected.Will they need a life time of treatment for Liver/Kidney problems.and other long term ailments caused from being infected.

Also if this pandemic follows a similar trajectory to the Spanish Flu of 1918,we can expect waves of this virus as it mutates and spreads.

For those that dont know the second wave of the Spanish Flu in October 1918 was the most deadly.

But here we are in an alternate reality,with a fucking Bio-weapon still on the loose killing people,with no vaccine,discussing bringing back a game of Football no one other than Liverpool fans and Sky TV want to see back yet.

Sickening.

At some point non essential businesses will reopen believe it or not.

True, and 50% of the non essential businesses would have gone to the wall , so why are football clubs a special case ? If they go bankrupt or downsize , go part time then it will part of the new world we will be living in , the Hight St' will be dead , the majority of food will be delivered by supermarkets , travel and holidays decimated , and much more , people underestimating the effect this pandemic is going to have on society over the next few years is the real problem.

Long term it’s a nightmare for football. Imagine how many people will just get out of the habit of going and not bother if it doesn’t start up for another 18m not to mention those who won’t be able to afford it due to circumstances changing. It’s a very uncertain future.

It is, however playing behind closed doors neither assists people in their habit of going nor will it help anyone afford it in the coming years. In short, this is more than a watershed moment, it's one of bloodshed! A culling of the excesses that we have seen develop in our simple game as it has been hyped, bloated and glorified to the level that it simply had to burst with one hell of a bang. Simply put, football, or the circus into which it has grown in the last generation, is over.

So the suggestion is play the games at neutral grounds to prevent fans from congregating outside their home stadium. Do the clowns who have proposed that do not realise that fans will travel to the neutral ground and congregate outside that stadium.
The powers that be do not understand the passion of some football fans - the only way to keep anyone away from stadiums is to have military road blocks on EVERY single road, alley, river that leads to a ground.
Perhaps players that have expressed concerns about playing should start a petition stating they will NOT play until vaccines are available.

Obviously very very saddened by the situation.
But, I’m quite glad of the break from football. First I have saved a load of cash at a time when earnings are reduced. Second I’m enjoying good and more time with my family that I would never have had. Third I have been amazed impressed and inspired by the rally to sort this covid problem out. We are still a great nation. No matter how many in the public eye try and run us down. They don’t push trolleys, disinfect rooms, empty bed pans. They postulate from tidy home offices. Fu@ck em. I hope newspaper sales and tv news sales/views drop.

Lastly and least important is this years title. Not that it was ever the most important thing in the world. How hollow would it feel to be awarded it in these circumstances. Feel the same about the FA cup Big ears cup. It’s over until proper competition can begin again. That means fans in the ground. A full season of fixtures that tests the full mental and physical skills and resources of each team.

High risk groups are Athletes,many of whom are also black, and Asians,groups that are disproportionately more at risk than white Caucasians.Multiplying the risk factor.

There is now also serious concern that a strain of this Bio-Weapon has started infecting young children,this group was not considered at risk just a couple of weeks ago.Like i said an evolving, mutating, Bio-Weapon.

Also the 1918 Flu was deadly it killed millions globally.that was not a Bio-Weapon designed in a laboratory to keep mutating,and keep killing.

Why should Football players expose their loved ones,and their self to unnecessary danger.Asking them to play in the current climate fundamentally compromises their own health and safety and that of their loved ones.

Ridiculous it is even being considered as this virus starts to mutate in Children,and even domestic Pets.

A cure needs to be found first.

It should not even be up for discussion.

Like i said it is sickening the Sky/MSM campaign to get football back on the Telly at all costs.

They dont give a shit about footballers,they see only money.

Hopefully the PFA kick this in to touch.

Like you said, fcuk football; but to be honest it was looking like it was fcuked already with the way PiGMOL were implementing VAR and how UEFA were "racially abusing" any successful non-WASP owned clubs...
...but there's a very real chance that it'll be longer than a few months.

From what I've read/been told by epidemiologists on the tele, this thing is probably/possibly going to be with us (as a global population) for a VERY long time, and if it is it will almost certainly reshape how we all live our lives and earn our money (there may be some "good" points to pick from that in a planetary sense but on a human level the future could be similar to a weird dystopian nightmare)

....and in the midst of all this mayhem we've got groups of greedy, selfish, unscrupulous people pushing for the almost immediate return of a fairly meaningless form of entertainment that puts the entertainers at risk of serious harm, seemingly in order to simply milk as much money as they possible can out of the golden cow before it goes dry.

International law doesn't allow for that, which makes sense as pretty much every nation would spend most of its time in court elsewhere in the world. A couple of States in the US have filed claims and already had them knocked back by the US court system and you the US system is much more favorable to groups seeking damage than most.

Possibly but the way the headlines screamed out 'scared!'- all of them l think - was not a good look and they seemed to revel in it.
As usual the litmus test was would they have quoted in the same way if a Liverpool player had used the same words in his own language on his home soil?

Football without fans is nothing to most of us match going fans, if they restart, cancel and start next season without fans, then its of no interest to me, I won't watch any of it, football without match going fans is not football imho.

I'll bet the TV tossers are already working on crowd noise synchronisation effects for closed door matches, like the old canned laughter.

So what if Aguero said he was scared nothing wrong with that at all. It doesnt make him any less of a man. If any think it shows he has more sence than the twats trying to get football restarted.
Aguero is probably saying what most of us are feeling when we step out of our front doors. Most of us that do that are frontline workers or people like me who have suddenly found ourselves doing 'frontline' work.
I would prefer to stat behind my front door but feel I need to do my little bit.
And yes I am scared every day, nothing wrong in admitting that, I am shit scared. Football is non essential and the players shouldn't be told to put them and their families at risk to kick a ball around in an empty stadium. Aguero was right in what he said
