Most people here wouldn't say a bad thing about Milner but foam at the mouth when Yaya or Sane are mentioned. Sane can't be faulted in this case. He's a young player hungry for play time and success. The incessant benching cost him a place in the German squad and that had to be the breaking point. I wish Sane well and I hope he fulfills his potential as one of the best wingers in the world.

No one can prove it but Bayern and the DFB were likely behind Sane’s exclusion from the German WC squad in a clear message to come home. Joachim Löw has been spouting in support of Sane joining Bayern for some time. Bayern are like the mafia in German football.

I couldn't give a toss about him going to be fair if he wants to, but for point 3 - massive difference between us normaltons than high value Football assets. He & Bayern collectively have played us to lower his value - which for me puts him in twat category just like Milner did -

City have been played again on this one that's what worries me more. I agree Players come and go but some players have more respect for their employers.
Why is there a difference between us and footballers? You're trying to justify your point with emotions, not with facts.

We fucking won shitloads of trophies whilst Poor Leroy was on the bench. That tells me that the management might not be the inept idiots you think they are.

The success of the team cannot be reduced to one particular player so I agree with you on that, however Sane getting the winner in the 2-1 home victory against Liverpool put as back in control of the league and we went on to win the title. Am I saying Sane won us that title, no! what I am saying is his contributions to our title winning seasons cannot be discredited. 10+ league assist on both campaigns (2017-2018,2018-2019), 10+ goals also. He might be leaving the club under acrimonious circumstances but I am one to give credit where credit is due.

A footballer has agents and in someone of Leroy's calibre has high demand especially - who will most likely never ever be out of contract in his life. We are talking about Premier League calibre footballers here - yes i'd agree for non elite.

I wouldn't leave my job without another lined up as I can't afford to - Leroy by looks of it has agreed he wants Bayern, all other clubs have basically sat back. But if Bayern were not looking, he would be a top asset for any big club in Europe

Yeah but the fact is he played 70% from the bench and got double digit assists for the two consecutive seasons, so you might want to look into your "opinion" on footballing issues. Opinion doesn't override fact.

YEs so he provided assists - great facts - he was on the bench many times, there is no fact whether you are right or I'm right, he was pushed aside. He was great in the games he turned up for and pretty shit in the ones when he couldn't be arsed and Im sure Pep subbed him at half time in one game.

My seat is in the North Stand on the left hand side, and we always have a good chat about him and keep an eye on him when he has started poorly.

Like I said its my opinion -

Wouldn’t say a bad thing about Milner? I thought he was universally despised for his attitude since he left. He is a **** and Sane is bordering that level with his agents nonstop comments about Bayern.

If Sane wants to go then ok, let him go providing the fee is acceptable to us. The fact is we are not as good a team without him. He's a big asset to us and we haven't looked as good without him this season (nor has Sterling playing out of position or Bernardo) so he impacts on the team a lot. He allows us to stretch teams down both flanks and provides more space for the likes of KDB and Merlin to operate. Playing Sterling left side with Bernardo or Mahrez on the right won't strike fear into opposition like we had with prime Sane and Sterling.

The reason he was not in the squad was because he was not good enough.Have yet to meet a German fan moaning about him not being in the squad.

I thought the same. Leave him out of the world cup, get the price slashed and get him to Bayern.

That's just fucking stupid.

1. How do you know he hasn't told the club? Don't take what Pep says at face value, we wouldn't tell other clubs Sane has asked to leave because it automatically lowers the value.

2. Why the fuck should he? He signed a 5 year contract, in June 2021 he will have fulfilled the obligations of that contract and is free to do whatever the fuck he wants.

3. Have you ever told your boss you're leaving before you had confirmation of another job offer? Have you bollocks, just because he's a footballer doesn't mean he works in different ways to me, you or any other fucker on here.

Stop being so damn precious, it's a game, Sane is free to do whatever he likes for whatever reason he likes. City were here long before him and will be here long after him.

So it’s OK for you to make one set of assumptions, but not for me to make another? If you want to believe that Bayern have conducted a campaign in the manner that they have without the slightest encouragement from Leroy that’s up to you. And if it’s in our interests to not tell other clubs he wants to leave, for fear of driving down the price, so it’s in Leroy’s to keep us dangling over a new contract, whilst running down the clock (and his transfer value) on his current one.
That may be the nature of the game and not something we should take personally, but it certainly isn’t in our interests, and if I feel a certain resentment toward the player for that reason, then that’s my concern not yours. And the idea that me resigning from my modestly paid job without having another lined up, with all the financial uncertainty that would entail, in any way equates to a highly sought after, multi-millionaire professional footballer doing the same thing, is frankly laughable.
Two fucks, one fucker, one fucking, one bollocks. Nice

We beat Real in Bernabeu without him.

We did, but we also “finished” 25 points behind Liverpool without him. He may be erratic, but he’s one of our most effective big game players, with a combination of pace, skill and athleticism that we don’t have a similar replacement for. Sane gives us options, something different.

So you're angry because you're not in as high demand or as highly paid as Leroy, that's your problem, not Leroy's.

Why is it different because he happens to earn more money than me and you? It isn't.

And where have I said I am angry , I am more than happy with what I do for a living and how my demand and plan is managed. - I'm pointing out there is a massive difference between the football contract situation and any normal persons situation when it comes to getting a new job - Players are commodities - they have a saleable value - he (& Milner) have manipulated their position and screwed this football club from recouping the correct value that we should have been entitled to had he/they been far more open with us about their plan. I've never seen transfer fees paid for people moving companies, otherwise im in the wrong job.

What are are our goals scored to now versus this point last season? I'd say pretty close. The reason we are 25 points behind liverpool is because laporte got injured and we've missed as many gilt edged chances as I've ever seen a team miss. Going forward hasn't been an issue.

Transfer fees are an irrelevance, that's not Sane's problem, it's the clubs. Sane can leave for nothing next summer, it's his choice.
