The government is transparent as fuck. They want people to go back to work, they want people to go out and buy things and kickstart the economy but they don’t want the responsibility of what that will cause. When the bodies start piling up again in a few weeks it will be ‘we told you to stay alert, stay home’ etc.

It’s not fucking rocket science, or brain surgery - the message has to change as we are trying to get some people back to work to kickstart the economy, so it’s “stay home IF YOU CAN”.
She is not playing a game,she is letting people who have to stay at home have a tiny bit more feedom,she is very firm about what to do as are Wales and irelandSturgeon says she will continue to say stay at home and then says you can go out twice a day to exercise. Is she a bit bitter that she couldn’t announce it like she has every other time a change is about to appen? Stay alert taken out of context might confuse people but with a full explanation it’s very simple to comprehend. Maybe the slogan should be ‘if your IQ is less than 50 go and speak to someone more intelligent who should be able to explain what’s going on’. Not sure how that would fit on a newspaper headline though which is maybe why we have gone down another route

if you are a double glazing salesmen , a plumber , a spark , own a pub or a cafe , have a small manufacturing business , or garage you want to be able to go back to work so you can earn a living , save your business, feed your family pay your mortgage or rent. You cannot moth ball it forever,
the economy is about people’s lives , it’s not an ideology.

I protected my vulnerable older people. I don’t see why we can’t.Do you feel the previous methods to protect the vulnerable worked?
I agree it is time to get things going again but as an older person I have very little confidence that "lessons will be learnt" from the recent happenings.

Yeah we all know that. But we also know the govt won't just come out and say it because they know what the consequences. The biggest thing about the slogan isn't the words it's the colors. It's green for go whilst pretending to be cautious and then falling back on the cautious when the consequences hit.
