I think saying there would have been 500,000 deaths is such sneaky thing to say, that was based on our scummy plan of herd immunity that they inflicted on us,they were forced into a change so to use that figure now is very disingenious
As if 32,000 (and the rest once the full figures fall in further down the line) deaths is an insignificant figure because, well, it’s not half a million is it? Jolly good!

Politicians just can’t stop themselves from being cunts. All of them, from any party.

It would have helped if he announced a temporary lifting of parking restrictions to go hand in hand with his call to encourage people to drive to work rather than use public transport.
I have worked right through this on a construction site in Ancoats.
Traffic wardens were nowhere to be seen for weeks until Thursday of last week when fixed penalty notices appeared on windscreens again.
The council must have had the heads up the masses are returning to work.

The UK has just announced there will be no quarantine on travel from France (and vice versa) - as things currently stand.

So everyone who wears a mask at the supermarket is mentally ill?
You’re a dickhead if you think that.

They’re doing idiots like you a favour because it doesn’t stop anyone catching it but it stops them giving it you if they’ve got it and are asymptomatic.
I stopped at “Koolaiders”

The politicians in this country are now proving to us what rank amateurs they really are , a lot are lawyers , many have never run a business which is what the country is , a huge business .
I never understand why people put so much trust in them , most of them can talk their way right up the social ladder but scratch beneath the surface & they are idiots .

Most also appear to come from privileged backgrounds way beyond the majority they represent. Without financially struggling to pay bills, heat homes and put food on the table, while constantly worrying if their job is going to last, or their terms and conditions changed for the worst, how can they understand how grave some of their decisions are to a lot of people?

can you explain how to track and trace 200,000 cases please?

There's a good explanation here of how they are doing it in Germany with a regional approach. They have one tracing team of five people for every 20,000 residents.

They have suppressed the disease so far but, of course, there is still a long way to go. The UK has adopted a very centralised approach and because we have had a slow start we now face a massive task.

The PM was a dodgy journalist who had contacts in the murky journalist underworld who would physically rough someone up a little to seriously hurt them or worse. Tells you all you need to know.

is it? The outdoors bit was from Wednesday but could have sworn he said Monday for working....
His exact words:
Instead we are taking the first careful steps to modify our measures.
And the first step is a change of emphasis that we hope that people will act on this week.
We said that you should work from home if you can, and only go to work if you must.
We now need to stress that anyone who can’t work from home, for instance those in construction or manufacturing, should be actively encouraged to go to work.
And we want it to be safe for you to get to work. So you should avoid public transport if at all possible – because we must and will maintain social distancing, and capacity will therefore be limited.
So work from home if you can, but you should go to work if you can’t work from home.
And to ensure you are safe at work we have been working to establish new guidance for employers to make workplaces COVID-secure.
And when you do go to work, if possible do so by car or even better by walking or bicycle.
But just as with workplaces, public transport operators will also be following COVID-secure standards.
And from this Wednesday, we want to encourage people to take more and even unlimited amounts of outdoor exercise.
You can sit in the sun in your local park, you can drive to other destinations, you can even play sports but only with members of your own household.

Crystal clear!!

All a plot by the liberal elite to make the government look inept when, in reality, we all know they're doing a sterling job, that Johnson speaks for the whole 4 nations; that there isn't any confusion and that having the highest mortality rate in Europe is a sign we're doing just tickety-fucking-boo.

don't worry, Boris will make those numbers work in his favour, last time he painted such a number on the side of a bus he got a new job as PM
