Inferiority complex? Where I live is middle class suburbia. Nice people but a cultural vacuum with no soul. I think it is a bit of a shit hole too. Good schools though. Unbelievably, it is considered aspirational by some. You should hear my views on Cheshunt and Wood Green (where I used to live).

I actually think that this is a sensible move if, for whatever reason, masks are low in supply and there's a genuine concern a rush to buy them will leave essential workers short.

I would rather they say this than lie and tell us we don't need them so as to hide the fact we don't have enough.

The CMO's haven't seen any new evidence to say we need them ,boris did say the other day they would be useful for confidence,i think that is pretty much all they are for,i think people will get a false sense of security myself

Very little, for example I play golf and yesterday he was quite clear that sport would resume but could only be played alone or with members of the same household. This afternoon the official line has come out and you can also play with someone from a different household as long as distancing is kept.

While it may not be a big deal it is typical of the lack of accuracy that comes out in these briefs.
