PSG played Dortmund that same night behind closed doors!
Typical scousers

You can't go dispersing facts like that.

Here's another - 3000 Atletico fans travelled.

What Liverpool supporter takes his child to that game, regardless?

Lockdown came two weeks too late in this country. The government wrongly attempted to trust the public.

Selfish Scousers and the like decided it didn't apply to them.

7 times?

Huddersfield chairman warns 50 to 60 league clubs could fold. And rather than look to disperse some some money down through the league, all the PL can do is desparately try to finish the league. This is the richest league in Europe with dozens of millionaire players. How about a little solidarity with the lower leagues.

2 weeks earlier, and 1 week earlier, scousers travelled there, and then our own fans did, I wonder how many contracted it in madrid, and brought it back here, and then passed it on at Wembley ?

Europe in general acted too slowly, but the real trojan horse was the holiday period in Feb, when many travelled to Italy and Spain, for skiing, and sun, as they do every year, and brought back an unwanted souvenir, many without knowing.

Yes because thousands had it unknowingly at the time, the horse bolted at school half term in Feb when people went on holidays to Spain, and Italy, and brought it back in large numbers infecting many of us. Nobody knew that at Wembley for our game as it was only a wekk since the schools went back, but they did know when Cheltenham and the scouse madrid game occurred, 2-3 weeks later, and they should have been stopped, and they could have been by local authorities as much as government, trouble is everyone was thinking about money not people.

In hindsight I'm glad our games against arsenal and madrid were cancelled, because there would have been other spikes.
Weren't there 2 CL games between Spanish and Italian clubs that went ahead just about the start of covid in Italy/Spain. That would've helped the spread quite nicely.

Atalanta (Bergamo/Milan) v Valencia 19 Feb, and 10 Mar, and Napoli v Barcelona 25 Feb (though I don't think Naples was badly affected early on, but Barcelona quickly was just like Madrid).
