The bit where he should have been challenged in this is to point out some those folk queuing to do their shopping are being denied the Parliamentary representation they voted for by Johnson and Ree-Smugs antics

As for his answer on quarantine ‘to keep the rate of infection down’, he’s not realised that letting in people from almost any other European country, as well as the Aussies and New Zealander’s would actually reduce the infections per capita in this country.
As for reducing the ‘R’ number, he’s no idea what it is as we’re using a best guess that’s 3 weeks old.
What has surprised me though is that they actually seem to be getting worse at this not better, which I though was impossible....

The government have meddled with the stats and approach so much that it is rendered completely ineffective. No one has any faith in the numbers or claims, the 'alert scale' is just a political tool - it has no scientific mechanism behind it and we are all essentially being advised to do what the government wants us to do for political reasons. If they were honest they would say they are lifting the lockdown for economic reasons.

Its a massive gamble, if the virus rebounds they are fucked as this is on them.

Indeed. The biggest con is that they’re ‘following the science’ whilst reviewing lockdown every 3 weeks (changed this week to every 4 weeks by Handjob). Thing is, if you’re following the evidence how can it rely on being updated at a fixed point in time?
As for fiddling the figures, imagine having to test an 80 year old with dementia. You get the swab into her throat and, before getting it up her nose, she flaps a bit and knocks it out of your hand. You take another swab and manage to complete the test, not have it on the floor and send it off. Any person living in the real world would think that was one test. Not the DOHSC, as run by the aforementioned Handjob, who counts it as 2 tests....

Yeah I really liked the 'being outraged every time I'm asked a question bit'.
And the constant looking back at the Tory benches as though he needed comfort and reassurance was a nice touch.

I'd say its worse than that. What you describe is a mistake where as what they have done is deliberately looked for the way to come up with the biggest number and they have gone so far down that road that the numbers are completely useless. There is also growing evidence that the test, track and trace is a complete disaster. They have farmed all this out to private firms so it will be costing a fortune and appears to be of no use to date.

Equally, it's Starmer's job to criticise him. Even if he were doing a good job, Starmer would want to point out the weaknesses.

Got nothing against the tories but and its a big but, the way they have handled this pandemic from day 1 has been nothing short of scandalous, thousands of people have died needlessly, we had the advantage of seeing what was going on in other countries but for some reason disregarded it, we had the advantage of being an island which we could of used to lockdown, again a wasted opportunity, Cheltenham festival as well as other sporting events allowed to continue is criminal in my opinion. Then care home debacle, PPE debacle, lying about tests, in fact basically lying about anything and everything (Cummings) a health minister in Hancock who makes me want to put my foot through the tv everytime I see the lying fucker. So if bungling Boris actually thinks his government have and are doing a good job in this crisis then god help us.
