The process has nothing to do with it (and we've covered this point before as well). What people don't understand is that

1) There will be no labelling of country of origin which means that people will not have a choice whether to purchase it or not. (thats in the agreement)
2) It can be incorporated into foodstuffs that we buy (such as pies / chicken burgers etc) again without us knowing
3) The agreement means that all industrial US food will be allowed in . Genetically modified wheat and Soya together with Hormone treated beef.

All in all it will probably mean no deal with the Eu as they wont allow this stuff into their food chain.
Nah. Can't happen. MB doesn't believe it.

Is this detail provided because you have seen the detail of the TA??

Or is it perhaps you describing what could happen and setting out as if its fact?

Indeed - @BobKowalski for instance has been very clear about his commitment to EU federalism

At least he understands it and supports it - whilst others are just sleepwalking into it without any understanding of the destination and the consequences for the UK - which I agree is pathetic

Some of us have the good sense to resist that and support the best interests of the UK which can be best achieved with the UK becoming an independent nation that can continue to control its own economic and fiscal policies

Certainly - my own convictions are that the best way to ensure that people are not worse off is to get out of the EU and that to Remain would certainly lead to people being worse off. So I am not one of those that you refer to.
Before Bob gets here... what commitment? Maybe a preference but he tends to keep pointing out that a federal EU is only possible with the consent of electorates (and there's long way to go for that to be a realistic proposition).

Meanwhile we're sleepwalking into being a vassal state of the federal USA.

You forgot the antibiotics.

US farms are using MORE antibiotics despite warnings that overuse will spread superbugs and send modern medicine back to Dark Ages - as fears grow UK shops will be swamped with cheap American food in free trade deal

Fuck me - you are quoting Verhofstadt???

What else did you spot whilst you were scraping the bottom of the barrel?
It's the quote from Johnson that matters, not the many people who have pointed out the irony. That would be a long list.

But I know you know this.

Anyway, today's challenge for the Brexit lobby (not that you will accept it judging by the lack of interest in fish, farming, finance and factories) is:

Do you believe what the Conservative manifesto said?

“In all of our trade negotiations, we will not compromise on our high environmental protection, animal welfare and food standards.”

Or more generally, how will UK farms survive?(No subsidy for growing food, competing with cheaper crappier food from the US, tariffs on exports to EU who may not accept our food anyway if our standards drop)

And I hope you've all signed the petition.

Guy Verhofstadt knows why we voted to leave.

And the crops are still rotting in the fields ...... this Government have a lot to answer for.

All it's doing is exposing how remainers believed their own lies they told about leaving intentions.

"oH, I tHoUgHt BrExIt WaS aBouT sToPpInG mIgRaNtS"

No, it wasn't, plainly. And you still haven't answered if you think we're racists or not.

Yes it was.
Plainly.

It’s been said too many times but let’s have one more go. Saying that all U.K. racists who voted will, in all likelihood have voted Brexit, is really not saying that everyone who voted Brexit is a racist and it’s about time you stopped being outraged by that notion.

The comment wasn't about racists or being called racists (except to Ifionlyhada... who insinuated we all were but has refused to confirm it and I'm still wondering why), I was talking about the notion that people only voted brexit to stop migration, as Verhofstadt and those who applaud his comments seem to believe.

Maybe you should direct you attention to them instead of those who disagree with Verhofstadts statements since you apparently agree with me on that sentiment.

Don't jump into interactions that don't concern you when you don't know the full story.

As predicted - including by @BobKowalski - it looks like the EU are going to seek to drag this out until the Autumn

Although there is also much commentary on the need and the intention for the EU to make compromises - which tempts be to point out something that I have long held to be true...………..

But I will resist - the point is that we need to start No-Deal implementation now and not get sucked into the EU seeking to paralyse things

No, it clearly wasn't, as your graph even shows. 60% voted for other reasons or considered other reasons as more important. But you just want to keep banging that "mimmigration" argument (which is no longer relevant these days)

You're not doing an IfIonlyhada... on us are you?

So what?

It was a part of my reasoning to vote to leave as well as i favour and always have favoured a points style immigration policy open to anyone regardless of where they come from and based on skills gaps that need to be filled.

It also stops the brain drain from poorer EU countries who need to grow themselves instead of seeing its population, up sticks to move to the UK/France/Germany etc.

Happy to be shown im talking bollocks here and that immigration to the poorer EU nations from the UK/France/Germany etc is equal and that FOM works perfectly?
