LFC get relegated. Chelsea had game in hand. I thought that was ok tbh. Especially since LFC cynically pressed for voiding the women's league but not the mens
I wonder why Liverpool eventually agreed to this?

I expect you are right, especially in the division(s) below, and there will be a reorganisation as a result.I expect the dippers know that there's a good chance that some of the woman's teams will fold due to money problems with the main team , and that they will not get relegated .

Being totally neutral as I don't support Manchester City Women's Team it seems to me totally fair, indeed if Chelsea had lost the title based on being a point behind and with a game in hand that would have been outrageous

That's a much better idea behind null & void.Ultimately, I think they should have stripped out games where both the home and away matches haven't been completed (to strip out home advantage) so that you only count matches against teams you played twice. Chelsea still win the league on that front but it's a nonsense to use PPG when they could have lost the game in hand.

A surprising number of people suddenly giving a shit about Womens football because they think they've got an opportunity to feel aggrieved.
Financially its not worth completing. Testing costs rumoured to be £150k per club, players and staff currently furloughed would have to be paid again. Not able to sell tickets and broadcasting deal worth fuck all.
PPG is the fairest method of resolving it, as has been seen in League Two in England, Scotland, France, etc etc. Disappointing for the players, but they suspected that would be the case anyway when they failed to beat Chelsea.

It isn't though, you can get relegated on PPG when you've played your nearest rival away but not at home, or played more top teams away but not at home.
