I’d also say a lot of these protesters have anarchist symbols on them, do they really represent what people are thinking/ feeling ?

A lot of these protesters have anarchist symbols, left wing symbols and seem very organised.

I think these are the same people who were at the climate change protests, various other protests. They are intent on causing violence and it’s not making the general public support them

Hundreds could also know catch the virus and die from these protests as well...

Firstly, I'm not watching the 'disorder'. I'm sure I'll catch it somewhere.

Secondly, I don't condone violence and that is separate from the reason people are there.
 
Luckily it’s pissing down, many would not have attended because of the virus and there’s no football crowds elsewhere for the Police to deal with.

To me, a tiny minority of people behaving like idiots doesn't detract from the overall message of a peaceful protest. By the same token, k wouldn't be able to enjoy or support football if I let the actions of a few idiot fans define my experience.
 
I am missing something?
The incident was in the states so why the protests here?
We are in a pandemic, this is not helping the police, hospitals etc.
Yes we have racism issues here but this is an unwanted side show to a global emergency.
Absolutely disgraceful.
 
Must be a big temptation for the police to truncheon some of these phones that are getting pushed in their faces.

they are purposely trying to antagonise the police, make them strike out and then film them doing it. Which they will then put on twitter and say police brutality

I don’t recall ever criticising peaceful protestors, but by all means correct me if that’s not the case.
