Wrong, cunts from both sides there today looking at the footage. White Hooligans seemed to start it all against the police, then Black thugs turned up and picked off lone protesters. Dickheads from both sides.
 
Rather unsavoury video doing the rounds from Waterloo. Surprised the man is still alive in truth.


Police need to put an end to all this and do so quickly.

Back then the boundaries were pretty clear; football tribes.

This is different. Last week, people were trying to fight for his equality in the future.

This week people just wanted to fight.

Not disagreeing with your last two lines, just interested to get an opinion on what it was like following City back in the day.

You mean giving people the opportunity to carry out a peaceful protest?
Today you saw the huge numbers and full PSU gear from the off because of the risk to their safety and also because of the likelihood of clashes between opposing sides.

Classic football hooligan stuff at this point, gangs roaming around looking for stragglers to attack. The whole day seems like it's the sort of thing we'd normally see when we go to a EURO's tbh, just need a handful of Russians to turn up and kick the shit out of them all to complete the day

Just had a look seems BLM were in waterloo and the protect the statues lot were heading home and it went off.



One vid has police runningthrough the station as flares and flash bangs are going off






Another has copers chasing around station and groups runnig though.

Another has ine of the football lads get caught alone out side and gets a into a scrap by BLM group, obviously outnumbered.

Then there is a picture of a BLM protester taking him to safety over his shoulder.



Basically it kicked off as people were going home intesected with the BLM protest.

As someone said earlier, apples and oranges.

I do fear that we’re so polarised as a nation at the moment that it could take a generation to heal those divides. Sadly at a time when we need a call for unity from the top we have a government who seemingly thrive on these divisions, and have helped stoked the fires. Throw the economic damage that Covid-19 and Brexit will bring into the mix and I think, in short, we’re pretty fucked as a country for the foreseeable future.

I hope these "events"aren't every Saturday.
