I would of thought this was City's last option nothing to do with confidence. If we were extremely confident I would of thought the best option would be to have this CAS case held in public so City could show UEFA up for producing fake evidence in banning City.In a nutshell, I have to assume that unless City were supremely confident (having seen all of the written submissions and having taken advice) they would have done a deal at 1 year. As the stakes are so high for City there will always have been consideration of settling even if they felt they had not breached. So if City were supremely confident before CAS, then we should assume they will win. No guarantees of course but thats how I read it.
