This example is good proof that CAS doesn't always rule in favour of UEFA. But this was a cut and dry case - based on a technicality. The only hope that this case can give us is that we have proof of errors and poor judgement on UEFA's part previously. Hopefully, they hadn't learned from their prior mistakes.PSG for example - much less complex than the City matter https://www.tas-cas.org/fileadmin/user_upload/CAS_Media_Release_5937_decision.pdf

First hateful 8 dealt with,7 more to goLATE NEWS FLASH
City played a game of footy tonight.
CITY 3 RED TEAM 0.
That's a good assessment, one I hadn't thought of, I'd take that no problem. This is the reason I voted "other" as I suspect CAS will return the case back to UEFA with a time limitation attached and UEFA will fail that with our guilty verdict and punishment nullified
Don't put that in an email. Uefa will have you.First hateful 8 dealt with,7 more to go

Don't know what you're talking about mate we're getting cleared 100%.pep's confidence of champions league next season all depends on which page he's up to on this thread it changes that fast
Clubs won't be allowed to do whatever they like in breaching the break even rules. They have soften the rules for this financial year but they will check in the next one. If you have spent beyond your means, you'll eventually get a sanction. It would be the archetypal 'Typical City' moment for us to be banned from Europe for 2 years during the exact same summer when every other club can do whatever they like in breaching the break even rules with no fear of sanction.
Literally zero chanceThat's a good assessment, one I hadn't thought of, I'd take that no problem.
What a load of bullshit. This line in the daily mail today:
FFP was brought in a decade ago as a response to the global financial crisis which saw a collapse of banks and a crash in the global economy.
VAR was brought in as a response to the Liverpool crisis which saw them without a PL title EVER.This line in the daily mail today:

Wish people would make up their fucking minds about why FFP was brought in.This line in the daily mail today:

To stop City running out of chips?Wish people would make up their fucking minds about why FFP was brought in.
So far it's:
Have I missed anything?
- To do with Chelsea
- As a response to the global liquidity crisis
- To ensure financial sustainability in football and the timing was completely coincidental
- To stop us
- To protect the G14
- To reduce CO2 emissions
