Pep and City at it again tonight, qualifying ASAP for the Champions League etc
Seems to me this is Pep and the club telling the press and more importantly the fans that the club know they've won the appeal. Not a press comment from any outlet re when City are banned or the like , hope thos is the case and all those trying to damage the club are having to suck it up !

Fingers crossed!

Pep also went off script on that specious view that Sheikh Mansour personally bought City talking about "Abu Dhabi people when they took over the club."

On a more promising note Pep smiled once in the whole conference - in reply to Ducker asking whether he'd heard an outcome. The smile is here (8 min 24)

I’m seeing a little glint in the eye there. Definitely. A little straw to clutch maybe.

Something I haven't fully understood. Who is the higher court we appeal to if the ban is upheld by the CAS? And on what legal grounds, given that it's a footballing matter? Just asking for a clarification.

The higher authority is the swiss court as that is where UEFA are based. As for the legal grounds I suspect it would depend on what the wording of the CAS verdict actually said.

The "body language" where he "chews" his lips up after the question is really obvious.

He is "stopping himself" from saying more.

That tells me he either knows the outcome or has received information that gives him a very good idea of the outcome.

Whether the outcome is good or bad isn't quite clear though.
