The NYT is reporting that Russia has put a bounty on American troops in Afghanistan. We've known this since March and in response we've lobbied to allow Russia back into the G7 and pledged to withdraw troops from Germany.

Our president is actively working for a nation that is trying to kill our troops.

Indeed. As someone with some sympathy for how Corbyn was perceived in the UK I understand that Sanders is a decent fella. That’s not enough to make him electable. Biden the bland does seem to be a much better bet

As you suggest perceptions amongst the majority of the population matter more than reality which is why Corbyn and Sanders are both practically unelectable. The uselessness, idiocy and treachery of Trump might have given Sanders a chance but it would have been close. Sadly the total ineptitude of Johnson hadn’t become totally apparent to enough of the UK electorate for him to lose in December.

It's a fact that if he doesn't pardon #45, every future Dem pres with a debatable career will be jailed too.

He won't play that game.
