Anyone for coffee?
This thread’s turned to froth.Forget it and just look forward to today's FA Cappucino game.
I don’t think CAS are basing their decisions on timings that would satisfy uefa. As far as I am aware they are completely independent from uefa2 days before the CL qf and sf draw takes place.
They are independent but I'd say they are basing their timing around UEFA. It's crucial that the decision is made before any draw takes place and CAS usually try to ensure that, where possible, their decisions take account of timings where there might be a significant impact on one of the parties.I don’t think CAS are basing their decisions on timings that would satisfy uefa. What do you base that on?They are independent but I'd say they are basing their timing around UEFA. They've expedited cases where athletes were facing a ban that would have meant them missing the Olympics. And they've expedited our case as well. What do you base that on?

Because if CAS overturn the ban we'll be in the draw. If not, someone else will be.I agree with that. However what does our situation for the next year or two have to do with this season's draw or any of the teams on the next round.
Which draw do you mean? We're still in this season's competition, we can't be banned from that draw.Because if CAS overturn the ban we'll be in the draw. If not, someone else will be.

And it's huge for the Premier League, Sky, BT etc. With no title battle it retains a level of interest on the product.PL will find out if 5th will actually be a CL pace or not with 4-5 games left of the PL to be played. Its huge for clubs like Tottenham, Wolves and United financially its a big difference if they go to EL not CL.
No. We're safe this season, whatever the outcome. I thought he was asking why the decision had to be made before next season's draw.He meant what has it to do with this seasons draw?
So nobody will be taking our place this season.
If CAS reject our appeal I can see problems when the mini Chumps League tournament begins in Lisbon.No. We're safe this season, whatever the outcome. I thought he was asking why the decision had to be made before next season's draw.
Not even UEFA could manage that. Besides they've already announced the ban will be from next season. If CAS reject our appeal I can see problems when the mini Chumps League tournament begins in Lisbon.
UEFA will do everything possible to prevent us from winning it.
