I have been going to City since 77 and we have had loads of keepers who where a little iffy. This bloke is the worst. His shot stopping is nil. Which is your first requirement as a keeper.

But keeps winning cups in our goal, who’d of thought you could win cups with the worst keeper in nearly 50 years.

I think as a number 2 he has done well in the cups over the last few seasons after the shaky start when he could not catch a cold. Got to have some game time I suppose but as he is imminently off I am a bit surprised to see him start

I suspect he would have been promised cup games as seems to be the case with most back-up keepers these days.

Yes

On the team sheet he is LW, but in reality they will just leave him up to hit us on the counter while they sit deep and he'll go wherever there's space to get behind someone

So you don’t rate him as a keeper, which is fair enough. Not worth hating him for it though.
As an aside, he’s been our ‘cup keeper’ for a while now and we’ve won one or two of them.
Finally, Eddie is the PL keeper most likely to get injured/sent off, given how he plays, so Bravo not having any games prior to a possible CL match or two is probably not the best option, hence his appearance today, I’d imagine.

His name is Angelino, we sold him, brought him back then sent him back out on loan because he wasn’t good enough/didn’t fit. Whether you rate Mendy or not, there’s nobody in the squad better than him
