Im really intrigued as to what's going to happen after the election if he loses. Will he leave peacefully? Will he burn everyone to the ground? Will the people he's in bed with spirit him away, or Epstein him.

What happens to Jared and Ivanka? The Democrats have vowed not to pardon them, so what actually happens to them will be fascinating.

Popcorn sales could rocket in December as the world sits and watches the carnage unfold.............I am guessing if the polls on the day are really bad a few private jets will be sat on the tarmac warmed up and ready for flight.

He's a foil for people like Barr and McConnell, formerly Bolton and others to enact their long held goals. Pompeo got to bomb Iran, McConnell has stacked the courts with 200 judges who will fuck up American politics for the next 50 years, Barr is systematically destroying all the checks and balances and bringing about the unitary executive theory.

Yes, Trump is a piece of shit, but he's in power because the Republicans are using him as a useful stooge to distract from what they're doing. It's why he is still there, and they didn't impeach him and replace him with Pence.

Yep, that’s exactly what he’s doing. He’s boasting about an unprecedented 17.7% growth from April to May without mentioning the even bigger drop of 22% from Feb to April.

Even allowing for expectation bias I still find a lot of the stuff in GOP social media feeds utterly f*cking batsh*t crazy.

Seriously, some of the stuff on there you struggle to understand how the people that believe that sh*t function as human beings, and in some cases actually have respectable jobs and careers (doctors/teachers/lawyers).

It just baffles me.

What you have to remember is that there are genuinely millions of people who believe the earth is flat and that the generally held belief that is globe shaped is a massive conspiracy (still not sure by who and to what gain). So never underestimate how fucking stupid some people are and how willing they are to believe any conspiracy they hear.

Also, you have to remember that in the US, it's not that hard to become a lawyer/doctor/teacher, compared to a country of literate people, so you will get a lot of cranks. Being top of your class isn't hard when the rest of the class are busy licking windows

Its a perfect storm for them, they built the machinery to propagate lies and conspiracy theories designed to support Trump and cover his failings. And then a virus comes along and starts killing Americans and the machinery just does what it does and you have all these Trump fans dismissing the Virus and treating it like a partisan political issue. They can't turn the machine of so Trump can't go against it, he is stuck between his own incompetent administration and his social media BS machine that can only work one way.
