Yeah, Bernardo's best performances for us last season were often in the centre when KDB was out injured. I'd love to see a run of games with the two of them in there together. I dont think its happened that often, or doesnt seem to have anyway?

Although I am looking forward to the game I think Liverpool have the edge simply because we have a weakness in central defence. We can control possession but Mane or Salah should over 90 minutes be able to expose City's central defence. We are too reliant on Laporte. If Garcia is playing, I might change my mind. He should do but I doubt he will. Really do not see the point in David starting tonight when we need to build towards next season and are facing the side we’ll be competing against. Foden should be staring as an 8 alongside KDB tonight and would give us some energy to press etc. Wouldn’t be surprised if not David he decides to play his trusty duo of Gundo and Rodri to build on their shocking record together.

Stop with this bullshit please. We beat Real at Bernabeu with Gundy and Rodri. We played well with them at Anfield too and lost more because of the referees and poor finishing than because of our midfield play.

Anyway, Bernardo will probably start instead of Gundy who played full games against Chelsea and Newcastle..
