Liverpool (H) Post-Match Thread

When in their half we played well. Some great goals from us. In our own half we made many mistakes that weren’t finished off by the dippers. That could’ve changed the game. Who cares.
Despite all the excuses pundits gave them, they lost. Heavily. 4-0 when it should’ve been 5 with VAR presenting themselves as a corrupt tool within football.

Haha, the general consensus in the NBCSN studio is apparently:

“Disappointing for Liverpool but understandable”.

YCMIU really should be Liverpool’s new motto.

If we had done that after winning the league they would be lambasting us.
Lee Dixon wants to have a long hard look in the mirror - what a dickhead he is

They lost 4 nil but the game showed how they benefit m decisions. Mendy booking a joke, Walker booking for a Mane dive a joke and our 5th ruled out for handball but only handled as he was fouled.

Only way for the team to really disregard the cheating is to be absolutely ruthless. The lads create so much but miss a lot as well. Defense at times leaves a lot to be desired.

Regardless of all that, I’m happy about the win tonight. It should give the lads a much needed boost. They are class. They all should have confidence in themselves. They can give any team a beating when they’re all on tune. Screw all the cheating c*nts.

Absolutely spanked, always good to beat the Dippers albeit in a dead rubber. Excellent performance by City and hopefully a good marker for next season.

Another masterclass by Kev, the Player of the Year without a doubt but we all know he won't win it. Mendy gets a lot of stick on here, but tonight he was brilliant, strong in defence and good going forward. Foden shone again and next season surely will be when he starts regularly.
