Dont be silly joe!I'm sure this may have already been floated on here, but I haven't seen anything, so how about thus for a scenario....
The announcement of any decision is being held until there is certainty about where
United finish....
Scenario one. United finish fourth, City get off with a heavy reprimand and no ban, possibly a fine
Scennario two. United finish fifth. City get a one year ban and a fine, will give them a CL place
Scenario three. United finish sixth. City get a one year ban and a fine, will give them a EL place.
I don't think this is beyond the realms of possibility with that corrupt lot. I wouldn't be surprised if they already have the three verdict envelopes waiting with the alternatives ready to be released.
Merely applying the same 'logic' that some on this thread seem to have used when seeing Pep smile during an interview and concluding that "he knows". Nobody knows

Why would the club be briefed ahead of the announcement anyway? A week earlier ? Surely not.
Pep is backing his employers. That’s it. Nothing else to read into this. He’s backed them all along. Damn right. They’re his boss. What do you want him to say? ‘Well we may have been a bit naughty but hopefully we will win’
Same for anyone else senior at the club from the big boss to the coaching staff. They’re hardly going to go on tv and say anything other than they are innocent.

Impossible. CAS are independent of UEFA who we're battling here.

Something just occurred to me. On here the vote is 48% “Ban overturned and city exonerated” and 52% “something else”. The Brexit vote was 48% vs 52%. Without revealing which way I voted I was confident and then it went the opposite way to what I thought. Hope is his one turns out better than last time!

I doubt there are enough jurors to give such a percentage, its isn't the trial of Socrates.

Except the result is being released well before the season finishes
@projectriver is it possible that City and UEFA know the verdict ahead of the 13th? In other words they know now?
Some of the comments and reported mood at City seem more than optimism?
I think they’ll get the verdict a couple of days in advance to to prepare the press releases. I can’t imagine the two parties get notified significantly in advance
