Cheeseman has been saying he might retire anyway, he's a club vlogger on questionable terms with the club he covers, breaking this story would give his flatlining career a shot of adrenaline.

to be fair if we are exonerated those fuckers are partly to blame for leaking when they did.

In some ways these leaks are bad news. We were thinking we would have to wait until Monday and not knowing was somewhat ok. Now we think we know we are good but we can’t be sure and these next few days are now going to be a killer. Additionally we’re are going to look like right cnuts should the decision go UEFAs way.

That's my take on it, he wouldn't reveal his source and they know it, and he is fully "independent" of the club, so the club can't be blamed.
