Looking on Twitter (yes, I know!), the amount of people saying this just goes to show that UEFA are corrupt and can easily be bribed is astonishing. The thick fuckers don’t even realise that it’s UEFA we are up against! I’m keeping my powder dry till Monday but IF this goes our way I’m gonna drive over to scouse land and take a dump on Abbey Road.
 
Theres a bit of me that thinks Ian is currently sat in his armchair, mobile phone on knee, praying for a call. The voice on the end saying, 'Ian, its Gazza, I've got half a pack of cigarettes it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses'
 
I refuse to believe anything till it's official, too many kicks in the balls down the years, I don't trust UEFA and their puppet masters one bit.

City can’t really come out and deny his tweet can they?

He might know, he might not

City might know, they might not

but they can’t confirm or deny his story without confirming the outcome of the case, never gonna happen

The line that City and UEFA don't yet know the result is just to fend off the press to try and keep it out of the Sunday papers because City are embarrassed that something has leaked out at our end (probably not deliberately) and we made such a fuss about the leaks from UEFA.

This 100%...exactly what I was saying to my lad earlier. I'm totally convinced we have been exonerated. there will be a lot of people at lower levels in the club, who will be aware of this, and have been set to work over the weekend, in readiness for the Monday announcement, and I'm sure 1 or 2 will have discreetly spoken to him to let him know what's going on.
