I find our own accusations hard enough to keep up with. There is so much reading to be done to have yourself educated on the subject.

I really haven’t the time or inclination to keep up to the minute on all things PSG.

But Parisian does I’m sure, although why he spends his time on here defending them is anyone’s guess.

One thing’s for sure, we should all know that if we’re only relying on the usual media for PSG info without time to do the detective work, then maybe we shouldn’t jump in too quickly.

Personally unless it’s evidence of them hanging us, I don’t take much notice of their dealings with UEFA.
A seperate thread for them would be better as this one is hard enough to keep up with when there is new news

Isn't he on the UEFA Executive Board? Certainly calls their credibility into question, when one of them (who no doubt would have been strongly in favour of charging us) is himself on a corruption charge

Got to be additional ammunition to take to CAS

He is, but it's not really UEFA's doing.
He's a representative from the European Club Association, and has no voting rights on the UEFA Exec.
The ECA have two reps that they elect - why the ECA appointed someone under criminal investigation is an awkward question for them.

Is there any evidence that Khelaifi would want to go after City, beyond any potential Qatar/UAE national issues?

"Following good governance practice to encourage independent application of the rules, the CFCB and its members have nothing to do with any other Uefa work, although by definition they have to be appointed by Uefaand are assisted clerically by its officials. The structure follows European governance models, with two separate panels to consider cases.

The investigatory chamber (IC) examines clubs’ financial details, and brings charges if it considers them necessary. These charges are taken to the adjudicatory chamber (AC), composed of senior European lawyers, which acts like a first court, hearing the IC’s case and City’s defence, then reaching a ruling. The right of appeal to Cas is built in, so all CFCB members know their work can ultimately be independently reviewed and publicised. But at this point Uefa, the organisation itself, with its president Aleksander Ceferin, becomes involved; it defends the rulings of its CFCB at Cas."

This is the bit that interests me....any legal experts here care to draw the distinction between this and the ECJ ruling from a couple of weeks age Re. the Football Federation of Turkey, if there is one?
