By my standards I would have thought my tone was very mellow tbh! Let me be clear, I like Ian Cheeseman, he is a Blue, he shouldn’t have been sacked by the BBC (Biased Bastard Cunnts), but I don’t think he was privvy to the CAS decision when he tweeted yesterday. It’s an opinion

Let’s assume for a moment that we are ‘exonerated’
We have only ever been accused, investigated & punished by UEFA.
As soon as it goes before an independent body we ware totally cleared.
Not a a lot the press can do with that. If they continue the City bashing they can forget any pretence of impartiality.
For my money they will then change tack and point the finger at UEFA for their incompetence.
They’ll be no apologies or retractions for the abuse they piled on us.
Just a new target, with the inference that it was UEFA incompetence that’s the issue, rather than our innocence.

I don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility to reason his source was dropped deliberately through the football club, when you have a look at what has happened recently.

He rarely circulates bull shit does Ian, he’s a pretty downbeat bloke and I just don’t see him as the type of person to hedge a bet.

As the saying goes ‘if you want to know what a man will do in his future, have a look at what he’s does in his past’.

Respect your opinion, though I do see things a little differently with this one.

I really don’t understand how some people can construe from the info given that absolutely nobody would know the outcome until Monday.

I just can’t compute it.

Imo it's beyond ridiculous for anyone to suggest both parties will only find out the outcome on Monday.

My intuition tells me we felt the hearing went well so were initially confident and the result was confirmed a couple of days or so back so we do "know" the outcome.
