assuming city know the result then why the silence,. are we open to court action should we spill the beans before the official statement from CAS or is this just a formal agreement between all parties involved, if they 'UEFA' didnt want the result to conflict with the draw then why couldnt we have had a statement this morning its not hard to make a statement on there website, this leads me to think that the club has no idea of the outcome and may only get that information an hour or so before a public statement from CAS
Being professional to the end springs to mind and not sinking to uefas level under any circumstances

I have no knowledge off CAS but I do not know any other courts or tribunal where 'participants' know the verdict well before it becomes public.

Any ITKs have a 50% chance so better odds than normal. Even if UEFA know city are guilty as charged they would not have the access to prove it to a third party, so it is not surprising people are confident on the City side.
It isn't a court, and also I'm sure at the conclusion of the case CAS said both parties would be informed prior to publishing the result. As the result was due on Friday and we agreed to put back publication until Monday, but not the decision, I'm sure the club were informed of the decision before the Friday date. Anyone around / close to those that know in the club will also know or be pretty sure how it's gone.

Imo it's beyond ridiculous for anyone to suggest both parties will only find out the outcome on Monday.

My intuition tells me we felt the hearing went well so were initially confident and the result was confirmed a couple of days or so back so we do "know" the outcome.

I think it’s potentially even longer than that fella.

There was a clear shift in Peps talk. For me info had escaped around 10 days ago, which only emphasises the point that things often do leak.

The more I read the more I’m starting to believe that UEFA have been a guinea pig here. The case was piss weak. Ceferin has been keen to distance himself because he’s embarrassed.

This is the work of the G14, and I suspect soon to be G15.

IMO simplistically it’s east vs west and the east have a better cash flow and subsequently more power.

If he was wrong I'm sure the club would have been in touch, and told him to remove the tweet.
No I don’t think the club are in any position to do any such thing. He acts completely independently from the club, we have no need to comment, and indeed we have been told by CAS not to comment, positively, negatively, or neutrally. No way will the club be commenting about this over the weekend

I don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility to reason his source was dropped deliberately through the football club, when you have a look at what has happened recently.

He rarely circulates bull shit does Ian, he’s a pretty downbeat bloke and I just don’t see him as the type of person to hedge a bet.

As the saying goes ‘if you want to know what a man will do in his future, have a look at what he’s does in his past’.

Respect your opinion, though I do see things a little differently with this one.
Understood pal. He is a nice bloke and a good Blue.

i tend to agree, i assume CAS have all buggered off home for the weekend, there are not many working hours from now to the public release date time so we have to assume the clubs now know, conflicts my earlyer post but its all confusing the harder you try to think the worse it is lol

They owe abramovich some 1.3 billion payable 365 days on request
No interest payable, but fml if he ever leaves they're knackered unless they find a big buyer

Who would buy the club AND pay £1.3 bn debt?! Unless they bought the club for 1p like Abramovitch. Chelsea is worth nothing like £1.3 bn!

It seems both parties agreed for the verdict to be put back from yesterday to Monday so Saturday (today) doesn’t really come into it. I’d be very surprised if neither party knows the result by now and if (note I said if) it’s a win for us then it would be a bit crass to leak it in advance that we’d won.
I think it's simpler than that, If uefa didn't want it announced yesterday because it would deflect from the two draws being made, the next day it could be announced was Monday, as CAS simply don't operate over the weekend.

Tbh if we'd won and I was someone at the club who knew, I'd leak to Delaney, Harris and that lot that we'd lost, along with a few big names who now want to leave. Let them get giddy for a few days and then drown them in their bitterness and shame on Monday. Maybe that's just me though...

That would be delicious, like Aguerooooo all over again haha

My guess is that City's press release is already written. Maybe issued with a big "EMBARGOED until Monday @ 9-30 am" at the top. That's what makes it so nail-biting.
If they've sent out an embargoed press release and expect journos to respect the embargo they are deluded!

Fucking part timers

The club won't comment officially but if Cheesy had got this badly wrong, someone from the club would have had a word, just my opinion.

Well you've done it now, you're the first person I've followed on here.
Ha. I'll try not to let you down. My 'ITK' powers are not what they once were. I only really pick up anything City related if the story's got legs in Germany. Think the last ITK stuff I posted was the SAP partnership from a few years back. Perhaps the least interesting ITK post in Bluemoon history.

Not sure if already posted or not

Just checked our history to see if the 13 July is a date of any priorr historical importance

It is as I believe 13 July (1965) was when the late, great Joe Mercer OBE became our manager

It's in the stars
ermmmm,,did you check our cock ups for that date,,,without checking i bet there loads from the Swales,Alan ball era,,,lol
