Just read this on ragcafe.

It's difficult for an organisation with limited financial power and a primary interest in the good of football to go up against an organisation with unlimited financial power and a primary self interest in themselves.

HAHAHAHA. " Primary interest in good of football".
Tautology and bollocks alert.

Yesterday was the same, Sebastian posted pep's pre match comments, which to me were as definitive as anything definitive. And most derailed the discussion about some random on twitter claining he heard from a nate of a mate sometging about 25%of the punishment. Talk about questioning sources!

At least it's not just me then. Pep is basically saying can’t wait till tomorrow now that we’ve won and I’m allowed to talk about it.

Instead of jubilation we get people still looking to random people on Twitter. Is this the World we live in now that people have lost the ability to spot real news from irrelevant mumbling? Perhaps it’s become so much fun speculating that the result itself will be an anti climax so people want to carry on with the twitter analysis as long as possible?

I’m sounding judgemental but I’m more curious. Either way I don’t need anymore evidence because what we have now is overwhelming. Like a transfer I’m expecting a last minute panic with another report that we have lost...I’ll probably fall for it too!

I do understand those still not convinced but not where they are looking.

Edit..here comes the latest mumble from Talk Sport..barely a news outlet more wind up radio.

Look at it how you want, we are clear, the club know, the players know and most important of all CHEESY KNOWS!

PS Even Tolmie knows, but he is embargoed!
You could be correct but this all seems to be based on hope and the result being embargoed. There's good reason I think to believe the result is embargoed. That is how I would think the process would work but I can't be 100%. Still 24 hours to go and I think we have a right to be more hopeful than we might have thought about a week ago. I do remember though how we thought on the verge of previous similar announcements, and those who are genuinely neutral, or hostile to City are not convinced.

I read it that they were talking about UEFA having limited financial power, not United. Either way it’s ridiculous though. It’s not like UEFA are paupers themselves anyway, they have a dozen or so of the world’s wealthiest clubs behind them, and they’ve had to fight a case for Court, not fund a manned expedition to Mars
Uefa have just sold the tv rights to their comps to Bein Sports for a million zillion quid. No connection to PSG's let off, of course.

FWIW, look at how we're playing since we restarted..

Arguably our best football of the season.

We smashed the dippers, no way did they want their arses handed to them on a plate live on TV..

Scored 5 against Burnley, Newcastle and Brighton..

Got beat against Southampton when it was basically like the Alamo, we could have scored 5 in that game quite easily too..

Losing at Chelsea when, again our heads didn't drop and we were far and away the better team..

Now I'm no psychologist but if we were going to get stiffed then I don't think we'd be playing at the level we're are currently..

It's human nature, The cloud hanging over the club would have a huge, negative effect on everyone and performances would have definitely been affected..

Pep's positive demeanour, coupled with us looking like we're back to something like our Centurions winning team, tells me all I need to know..!

Don't forget we scored 5 against the Dippers only for VAR to disallow it for Foden's innocuous handball.

One things for sure, if we are cleared, it will popcorn time as the media fall over themselves in claiming football is dead. Fingers crossed

An organisation with a primary interest in the good of football? Don’t their owners give syphon off revenue for themselves? Don’t their owners attach huge debts to the club? Don’t their owners hide their accounts away in the Cayman Islands, it would be interesting to see what type of tax avoidance they are up to with their accounting. Don’t their owners not give a fuck about the football side of the business? As long as the Glazers have money coming in they wouldn’t give a fuck if the rags won a trophy ever again.

I know which owners I’d rather have.
And UEFA actually let the Glazers do that to United with no comeback, and there are Rags who think UEFA have a primary interest in the good of football?

I presume they know he doesn't know because it is confined to a very small circle of senior execs, that's all.
I guess that Pep knows and possibly those close to him. Also some of the legal staff and secretaries. Obviously everyone would be sworn to secrecy but there's a lot that can be read by people's reactions. Nothing said to betray a confidence but say a knowing smile when asked. That's if we are successful in the appeal and I'm hoping.

The club are very disappointed with Cheesy, I'll leave it at that. Not because he has betrayed a confidence, but because they know he doesn't know and thought better of him than that.

I know it's a different argument, but I think a lot of fans are still disappointed with the way the club have treated Cheesey. Why exclude him from the club in official capacity when he could be in doing prematch interviews etc. Instead with have to put up with the odious Hugh Ferris and his belittling demeanour who is universally disliked by the fans as far as I can see.

Georgie Bingham that's an expert view right there! She doesn't even know what the hell this is all about, she was just handed a script with a coffee mug and now she will flap her gums for a couple of hours and then go for lunch and everything she opiniated on and discussed will be forgotten by the time the red studio light goes off.

He's a bit of an arse. The club had him on the books doing his vlogs but then he was outraged by the return of football and turned up at the gates of the ground on match day when fans had been specifically told not to. You just can't do that when you are an employee of the club

pretty much like every talksport show.

they have the the highest paid keeper in the world, the most expensive defender in the world, a world record transfer in midfield, the most expensive striker in premier league history been and gone, the highest paid player in the premier league being paid to play for someone else. Oh and they’re then highest paid squad in the league. Playing in the Europa league. Limited financial power indeed
Since they last won the league, they’ve spent the most money on transfers and wages in the league yet have finished 7th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 2nd, 6th, and are currently 35points off 1st and 14points off 2nd. With 5 trophies in that time.

Having spent less money on both transfers and wages in that time we’ve finished 1st, 2nd, 4th, 3rd, 1st, 1st, 2nd. With 11 trophies in that time.

They were pretty much right after all back in 2008 when they kept saying to us; “you can’t buy trophies!”

And UEFA actually let the Glazers do that to United with no comeback, and there are Rags who think UEFA have a primary interest in the good of football?

How about moving the goal posts on City in 2014 so we would have no chance of passing financial fair play fining City £49 million which they agreed not to revisit. Then using some hacked emails to build a case to extract a further £25 million out of us, for the good of football? For the good of their bank accounts more like it.

If this goes our way there is a story here to be had by the press, a story of a corrupt and inept football organisation. Thing is our press only seem to go after Uefa and FIFA when we don’t get awarded football tournaments. Not when an English club is being wronged by them slimy crooks.

I didn't know that, however that still doesn't explain why we have to tolerate Ferris?
