I'm hating all this speculation - no-one knows (or should know) the outcome outside CAS. If any journalist goes public - they should be brave enough to name their source or at least confirm that someone who can be relied on in CAS has released the verdict. Personally, I don't believe anyone outside CAS knows the verdict.

UEFA Confident according to this guy

Over 66000 followers, yet this tweet of his from last night appears to have almost slipped through the net and not been picked up by any of our haters in the media. It seems only a few blues have seen it before it was posted on here. Maybe wishful thinking on my part but I don’t think UEFA being “confident” adds much as it’s been reported previously that they’re confident, but then so are City. I guess it depends on when he was told that they were confident. If it was yesterday then perhaps a cause for concern. If it was 3 months ago, then that’s different. Weirdly, he’s not even posted it as a stand alone tweet - he’s tagged it on to another tweet about our match against Brighton, almost as an afterthought.
All he actually says is “By the way... UEFA think that they [CAS] will agree [with UEFA]” — it is an afterthought and almost certainly based on previous briefs and off the record comments, probably not even by UEFA officials.

He is not a major sport journalist (in Spain or Europe) and I can’t imagine UEFA would use him to leak their position, given it would only get to the people most interested in anything anyone has to say about the appeal: City supporters scowering the internet for any morsel of a rumour of a whisper of a prayer (which would not be UEFA’s target audience).

It’s not information, just another gambit to get engagement on Twitter (which could also have been Cheesy’s play).

Why would Ian Cheeseman know information that if leaked may bring about contempt of court?

So he’s first and privy to what would be one of the most closely guarded secrets, but he can hardly even get low-profile player transfer information?
Assuming that City top executives know the verdict, not too far from a possibility, and they want to let the fans know then they choose someone trusted to not reveal source Ian has no connections with the club so if CAS ask if Ian was told they just deny it and say he’s just a chancer
CAS is a tribunal service so couldn’t be held in contempt of course

Not sure what you expect to find in the thread today though , apart from speculation, based on whether the club know or not. At this stage though it’s more than likely they do.

This is the solicitor who assisted in presenting City's case to the CAS board ...personally hired by Khaldoon ...

She's not a solicitor, she's the defendant...and she's going down!

The Gloom-o-Meter has started to peak over the last few hours. It registered an all time low on Friday evening and although higher yesterday it was relatively stable. There have been several surges upwards today & there have been hardly any drop offs.

Hold on to your hats as it is becoming a very bumpy ride...

I wonder what the Observer/Guardian will have to say about this article if CAS do overturn the appeal.

This was one of the most biased and foolish articles written by anyone about the whole saga. It confirmed what I had always suspected..that David Conn is just a bluffer with little journalistic expertise. To produce this article, making out Yves Leterme to be some sort of saint, was laughable. He is asking people to show respect to UEFA...a proven corrupt organisation. I would like to know his motives for writing this.
