Id be surprised if Pep is here next season win lose or draw tbh.

I said a while ago that if we were about to invest and rebuild would you really want a departing manager to be spending you money?
I wouldn't and that's no disrespect to pep and his team.

He didn't come here for all this shit either.

I think we will win the appeal but Pep will leave unfortunately.
Like everyone I'd love to win and then him announce a new deal but that's a heaven like no place on earth.

Well that was one confusing video. All along I assumed Pep knew the result but strangely he really looks like he might not. The only conclusion is that City know but he doesn’t which would be really unusual.

You would really need to know Pep to see if he was capable of lying that well and I don’t. He says he has a feeling that we won...that could be a lie and he knows or it could be the truth and he’s going off City’s opinion of how things went at the hearing.

Tolmie said he was more confident after seeing his comments. I don’t see how. At best it doesn’t make any difference, at worst he is stressing that he has done his bit and the rest he is distancing himself from. One thing I’m sure of is he definitely doesn’t know we have lost.

The great news bit was just related to that we have qualified in league position terms.

So what to make of it all? If he really doesn’t know I’m back at 50/50 ...sorry PB. But....I think he might very well be a very good liar and does know. So I’ve gone from 99% to 70%.

It’s like looking at a jigsaw with pieces missing and we cannot, and will probably never, see them. So frustrating.

At this point it’s all about getting the win. Interested to hear what @Prestwich_Blue @projectriver and others take from the video.

Edit I see above PB has gone for no difference.

Not now mate, one horrible thing at a time eh?

It's on Youtube. It was the last thing he said after being asked about qualifying for the Champions League. He said it was "great great news." I thought he was totally upbeat and clearly knows the result. He may not have the details but has certainly been briefed along the lines of "We'll get the result on Monday but it's positive news." That allowed him to answer earlier questions that he doesn't know what will happen on Monday. I am sure we will be in the CL next season whatever has been decided. Perhaps the suspended sentence angle which has been floating around in some quarters has some legs to it. We'll know in a few hours.
Thanks. He may have been talking about last night's result, which technically cemented a place in the top 4.. It fits with his comments about qualifying for next season's CL " on the pitch".

Shit, I don't think he knows the outcome. I'm not usually glass half empty but I'd be lying if I said I was completely confident at this point.

Marca are quoting a load of supposed "CAS experts" who know nothing about the result and are just speculating.
The Marca story is riddled with errors. It claims Chelsea were punished for similar sponsorship offences. Not true it was player transfer issues. It doesn't explain the PSG case properly. There are no direct quotes from the so called anonymous CAS experts (whatever that means) It also uses the old quotes last month from KDB which have since been debunked by him and his manager. In short the whole piece was total bollocks. Not much of a surprise from an outlet which is essentially a propaganda sheet for Real Madrid and Barca. Is the Spanish media as shit as ours?

Get some sleep. I have a good feeling about this.

Well Parry has quit UEFA and Al Khelaifi is now facing criminal charges for corruption so that's at least two of the usual suspects trying to keep their noses clean. It looks like David Gill may have briefed his own club and a German journalist posted on here yesterday that the word at Bayern Munich was that City had been cleared. The bottom line though is that UEFA would not want to leak a negative story about themselves so that's all positive for us as far as I'm concerned.
My thoughts exactly. No news is good news.

City ban upheld by CAS and it would have leaked into the press judging by UEFA's past performances or another rival club would have got wind of the decision.

But absolutely nothing.
