CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Smacks of CAS throwing UEFA a bone and most probably we will accept the reduced fine with the caveat that this will be the end of the affair. I don't foresee us appealing the smaller fine.

Since the period in question not only do we have no debt, we have operated with healthy profits - something not many clubs in Europe can say. It will be interesting when those same clubs that tried to stick the knife in will be so happy when figures are produced this year - with the loss of earnings due to the pandemic. A real win for us, it also means that Pep and his team will still have 100% confidence in the ownership. Brilliant news to start the week.

Reading it, it seems like UEFA couldn’t prove we were guilty to a good enough extent so the ban has been overturned but it hasn’t been proven that we did nothing wrong.

This is great for the club being able to play in the CL next season and ongoing, but hasn’t done anything for our reputation like being absolved of guilt/proven innocence would have done.

You actually believe what uefa say? Fucking hell mate, did you think michel Platini was innocent? All we have been done for is not fully cooperating with a bunch of corrupt cunnnnts

Do you really think rival fans would believe we are innocent? The CAS statement could read City are innocent and uefa are corrupt cartel lovers, people would still think we are guilty. Oppo fans have no knowledge of the situation, they're saying we paid off uefa. They don't even know it went to CAS.
 
I mean UEFA really are a shit-show aren't they:

"UEFA notes that the CAS panel found that there was insufficient conclusive evidence to uphold all of the CFCB’s conclusions in this specific case and that many of the alleged breaches were time-barred due to the 5 year time period foreseen in the UEFA regulations."

So they didn't have enough evidence, but their legal team pressed on with it just to shit on our name. BY THEIR OWN FUCKING REGULATIONS the breaches were time-barred as well as the agreement they had made with City in that period when i fine was paid.

Pay the £10m, then sue the ****s for defamation or get Khaldoon on their board to strong arm the dickheads.
