CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Love it, fucking love it, and our owners and management are the best in world football.
No way were they meekly acquiescing to any more of this confected shit attempting to ruin
the club, and this 10 mill for refusing to cooperate with someone who refuses to listen to valid objections
will be looked at imo. What's most satisfying is the reactions of the Dippers, Rags, and Bayern,
I'm loving it, fucking take it you arseholes.

Sorry if already posted among the scores of posts I've had to skip to get this far but Mackenna's twitter page is a sight to behold.

As for actual ruling on Manchester City? Hilarious, unsurprising and, as with a lot around them, can be summed up by Big Ern McCracken. "All l know is, l finally got enough money that l can buy my way out of anything. l can do anything l want! Finally, Big Ern is above the law!"

That some Manchester City fans see this as a game, and come after journalists who have tried to highlight the mass murder of their backers and board shows just how far they've gone and been indoctrinated. That CAS ruling isn't a point back or suddenly making the above alright...

If this bitter cunnt's lies aren't enough for City to go legal on him they never will.

Looking forward to sitting down with a large drink in a few days and reading the full CAS decision.

Can we pay UEFA in cash, split between this seasons and next CL trophies?

The loser's statement:
UEFA takes note of the decision taken by the Court of Arbitration for Sport to reduce the sanction imposed on Manchester City FC by UEFA’s independent Club Financial Control Body for alleged breaches of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play regulations.

UEFA notes that the CAS panel found that there was insufficient conclusive evidence to uphold all of the CFCB’s conclusions in this specific case and that many of the alleged breaches were time-barred due to the 5 year time period foreseen in the UEFA regulations.

Over the last few years, Financial Fair Play has played a significant role in protecting clubs and helping them become financially sustainable and UEFA and ECA remain committed to its principles.

UEFA will be making no further comments on the matter.

No further comments......fucking ****s

should be saying sorry to City
and sorry to all UEFA members for wasting all their time and money chasing fuck all.
Not to metion saying sorry to all UEFA members for dragging the remains of their reputations through the mud one more time

I repeat fucking ****s

Not really - they've trailed the date of the announcement for a good while, and must have known at the end of the hearing how it was going. We've assumed it was a 3-0 win at CAS but it it was 2-1 (UEFA nominated one judge, as did we) it might be they're running the wording past the dissenting judge - or they're running it past City's lawyers...
Dissenting judgments are not allowed in CAS's regulations so I don't really see why if there was a dissenting judge that his view on the wording is needed.

Ahh up steps Miguel Delaney in his Independent article with this..

"City have ultimately got off on a technicality, as indicated by the use of the words “time-barred”, and merely the fine reduced. The suggestions the club have been “completely exonerated” are not quite true."
