Is there anything in the CAS judgement which could open us up to punishment from the PL? Or does the fact that the CAS release say that City "did not disguise equity funding as state contributions" mean we're in the clear?

Bring it on.Is there anything in the CAS judgement which could open us up to punishment from the PL? Or does the fact that the CAS release say that City "did not disguise equity funding as state contributions" mean we're in the clear?
Every fibre of my being didn’t have the balls to run. The state of my bank balance used to overcome this primal fear though.I seem to remember from my Gorton days that the saying originates from leaving a curry house without paying. (but i could be wrong!)
The discussion would be "are we doing a runner?", ie a disappearing act.
The signal would then be "Do one!"
This then transformed into a saying (when you wanting somebody to leave/go/disappear), you would say "do one mate".
Trouble is i never had the balls to do a runner. So i always ended up paying the whole bill!
Have to wait for the full case to be released but I think pretty much everyone is saying its unlikely. The PL have enough to do without wanting to take one of the biggest stakeholders in the league to court. Is there anything in the CAS judgement which could open us up to punishment from the PL? Same here.Mate I accidentally opened CAS' original verdict from 2019 when we initially went to them. I thought we had lost for a good five minutes, finding out we actually won was euphoric haha.

I’m as pleased as shit with the outcome. But let’s not forget a big reason is that the clock ran down on some offences so the club has to learn from and avoid those mistakes.
*** BREAKING NEWS *** World Health Organisation launch investigation into Manchester City Football Club.
A well-placed source who would only speak upon guarantee of anonymity said Medical Professionals were intensely concerned about a global outbreak of urinary tract pain due to an uncontrolled surge in piss-boiling over the past 24 hours.

EDITED to add. I think the whole FFP was a Pulling The Ladder Up exercise by Old Money and should be abolished.

.
Will be interesting to see the full ruling but my bottom line is that if our activities fall foul of a law rigged to stop challengers to Utd and their ilk and we ‘got away with it’ then good on us.Well there were other charges that were not time barred and CAS ruled that there was no evidence that we had done anything wrong. That may very well have been the same for the incidents they were unable to rule on.
We probably technically are because the rules were written by cheats to trap New Money clubs and keep them out. What mistakes? You are assuming we were guilty of some offences that had time expired protecting us.
The wording of the judgement isn't in full, so nobody knows the actual meaning yet.
They way i'm reading it, is that some of the "charges" were not valid. since they exceeded UEFA's own time rules. Therefore we had nothing to defend/answer to. That doesn't imply we were guilty of them etc.
ALLEGED offences.I’m as pleased as shit with the outcome. But let’s not forget a big reason is that the clock ran down on some offences so the club has to learn from and avoid those mistakes.
