"massively"?Dont forget a new massively improved sponsorship deal off Etihad
Pure speculation, but if he is agitating for a big transfer summer, and a year of bedding them into his system with two or three of academy lads who have been getting game time, they'd be hitting their peak in 21-22 and 22-23. Why wouldn't you want to stick around for the fruits of it?
exciting times, with a mega talent like Foden here, he should stay just for him. Then there is Garcia, and other youngsters.
Also, if I were Pep, I would be ensuring I get a nice war chest to spend this summer before extending, that way he can properly rejuvenate the squad, and keep everyone on their toes.
We haven’t really spent big these past two summers, brining in just Mahrez, Rodri and Cancelo to this first team. Now it’s time to shake up the squad a bit.
Where is the £150m being quoted? All the talk is 150m + whatever we get for outgoing players, so at least 3 - 4 world class players. Exciting times.
Where is the £150m being quoted?
Do you not think they are simply throwing out such large sums to stir the shit following our exoneration yesterday? The back page of most newspapers this morning

Fucking hell mate I pray you’re right.I do not get the feeling Pep is misty eyed about national team management yet. I honestly think the day in day out grind of club management will see him stay here for a good while to come. With Newcatle possibly upping the stakes, Liverpool sniffing around and Chelsea seemingly steadily improving the challenge will be to attractive for him to leave. Even utd are getting their act together to a small extent which provides some spice for his palate.
Italian football does not appeal to him i feel, he wants to be at the top of which the prem is, by a bit of a margin i think. Germany holds no allure and he will not be going back to Spain again. So where does he go? Here is where it is at and he has everything he wanted at Barca right here, he is no fool and will be accutely aware of this.
If he leaves us within the next 4 years i would be taken aback. Sticking my neck out i can see him here for another 8 or so years then he will go and do 8 years or so at the Spanish national team or possibly managing England. This is not some blue tinted specs stuff, it seems objective and realistic to my eyes.
We should announce Pep tomorrow, KDB the day after, Sterling Wednesday, Aguero Thursday and then a new £100m signing on Friday.
The tears would finish the bitters off.
Spain wouldn't have him. Not big fans of Pep outside of Catalonia mate.I do not get the feeling Pep is misty eyed about national team management yet.
