David Silva leaves City after 10 years

There are two things left, four if you want to be greedy...

1) Raise the FA Cup at Wembley
2) Raise the Champions League Trophy in Portugal
3) Score the winner at Wembley
4) Score the winner to win the CL in Portugal

His legend and legacy are already cemented in the annals of the history of Manchester City. He may well be the best player to have ever graced the sky blue jersey. BUT, if, in his last season, he manages to lift these two trophies (and tbh I couldn’t care less about the FA Cup as he’s got a few of those already!) then it will be the cherry on the icing on the cake of (at least) one of the best players to ever grace the English game, let alone the Premier League.

David Silva has ALWAYS been the model professional. Never heard a peep, always given 100%, and risen to every challenge with grace and humility...not the least of which was when he was shuttling between Manchester and the hospital bed of his new son, Mateo.

Not just a player amongst players, but a man amongst men.

this crazy.

him play like beast now.

sure need stay, him play many games next season.

but again if stay, not be easy to say goodbay to silva, aguero and dinho in one summer.

He is the most decorated player in our history. A stunning player. Can we not ask him for another year? I get the leaving when it's right argument but he looks easily capable of continuing.

It's good for David to leave on a high, with good performances and some great goals. Why sit on the bench or block Foden's development? He's clever and has a sense of responsibility to let sentiments get in the way. Absolute legend.

Trust Pep and David, they know what's good for the club.

A petition would show distrust and, generally, is not a smart thing to do.
