Not sure if there is another thread about this but Boris just announced that he hopes spectators will be allowed to return to football stadia from the middle of October. Not sure if that means limited capacity or full grounds. Looks like certain clubs will lose out on another chunk of match day income moving into next season. Given that Karren Brady said the other week it was hoped we would be back at the beginning of the season I guess that clubs are now hastily rewriting their 2020/21 budgets

There won't be anything bar some nebulous guidance and the FA/PL will have to make its own mind up.

Same with pubs reopening and showing sport.

The 1st August pilot is the Football Association Challenge Cup Final at the new Empire Stadium I believe.

Pilots will take place from 1 August but any stadium reopenings would be subject to coronavirus guidelines.

That would still mean distancing, which rules out full capacity.

5000 or 500 is still a bonus.

As long as you're one of those 500/0

Me personally, I have empathy will my fellow match goers. Which is why I fully believe that football should not have started until it was safe enough for everyone to go back.

As it stands, I don't think anyone should go back until all fans can.

Just been out shopping and bumped into a fella I haven't seen for a few years,I
didn't know he works at City,I asked him about fans being allowed back,he said he can't see it
for a very long time.
