Thought he was alright apart from playing Auba onside.

He was playing next to a total chump tonight in Laporte, who had a mare.

What?! We played brilliantly as a side meaning he didn't have much defending to do. He's a total liability, his football IQ is ridiculously low for a 26 year old. Being better than Zinchenko isn't a compliment, he's a number 8 who we got from the Ukrainian league playing as a LB. Mendy has been a diabolical signing.

He's had one season where he's been fit. That's called bad luck. And my point is, we're not signing two left backs so he stays by virtue of being our best.

He played brilliantly against Liverpool.
 
Two big mistakes tonight and his crosses were very poor. City are a small team, we need fast balls in whipped across the 6 yard line. Not high balls floated in for the target man we don't have. Edin Dzeko is long gone - so should that brand of football.

I've generally defended him as he seems like he wants to succeed at City. But tonight he let us down. It seems to become ever clearer that he will never be good enough.

No good but un-sellable. If it was the Mancini years, he’d be loaned out for the rest of his contract

He’s like Balotelli as in the fan base judge him by very basic standards and if he meets them we think he’s had a good game. Rather than judge him on being a 50 million pound full back that gets caught our most weeks, can’t run and over hits most crosses. But, oh, he did tackle someone once....
 
He's not good enough on defense, the only thing he has, at least that's what people think, is his crosses. How many assists he had in the last two years from crosses? Enough with this nonsense about crosses and offensive contribution. We have 2 defenders who do not know how to cross a ball and have 0 offensive contribution
 
Our full backs are never making runs into the box, they are always stuck out wide.

Sterling and Mahrez will have it and instead of making a later run in the box they'll either stay out wide or hold back

I think if we could sell him we would loose half of what we paid if not more. Terrible buy
 
Accept it hasn’t worked out and moved on. Can’t afford to keep spending huge amounts of money and carrying these crap defenders. Next defender purchases have to be spot on
