It’s a shit trend to be honest, but I’ll still buy kits if I really like it enough. Bit puzzling though when my small local side has patterns that go all around from a small manufacturer.

Had my first "close up" look at the Home shirt Saturday and can't quite make my mind up about it.

Really like the look of the Away shirt so I've ordered that instead.

I think the new away kit looks great AND has a real attempt to connect with our past and to the City.

I have bought 4 for the family and will wear with pride. ( when we are ever allowed to go to a fucking game again)

Hopefully they do have holes where the head and arms go otherwise I can't see this being one of our more successful kits. The 'Ballotelli Special' perhaps?

But there's a rule where UEFA can order the home team to wear a change of kit for television.

Arsenal and more recently PSG were ordered to do it.

Whether you like them or not, they are unique, they’ve put time into designing them and they’ve tried to link it to manchester.
Meanwhile nike are still dropping basic template kits. Puma so much better

I hear the 2021/2022 kits will be launched under the branding of #NeverForget. The kits will be a tribute to the WWHWWWS era with nods to the iconic Kappa kits. The home shirt will have a still image of the Jamie Pollock wonder own goal woven into it on the back and the away kit will be a collage of the 250,000 who wear at York away.

The reclaiming of Manchester as our brand and it’s traditions put in the shirts got me thinking about other historical references we could have in future
