Roma is my second team but am buzzing to see him in the Serie A, even if it's with Lazio. Could have easily taken a huge payday in an easy league like some of his Spanish teammates did.

Simply the finest player I’ve ever been lucky enough to see in the flesh.

Its been an absolute privilege watching David in Blue over this last decade, and he leaves the Club our most decorated player.

Clearly I’m hoping he’s got one more in him before he finally does say goodbye.

It’s the longest of long shots, for sure - but I can’t think of a more fitting end to the City career of a true legend of our Club!

Plus possibly Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Villa etc. David is almost universally liked throughout global football. Even my cousin, a lifelong Arsenal fan and former non-league player, wanted to come over from Ireland for the guard of honour because Silva is his favourite player of all time
