Harris nearly made Biden cry in the last round of the Dem's presidential candidate debate. She'll utterly destroy Pence.
There have been murmurs of Trump looking to replace Pence with Nikki Haley to combat the “Biden picking a woman” gambit and try to mitigate his horrific failings (ha!).If it is Pence.... I still think there’s a possibility, albeit slim, that we hear soon that Pence “has reluctantly decided” not to stand on the ticket with Trump. There are those on the Trump team who don’t see Pence as a strength, and the events of today onwards with him up against Harris will only strengthen that view imo.

Well, she’s in her 40s, from South Asian (punjabi) parental background, and a Republican, so yeah, on paper I can see how he’d go for it.

But there are many, many rumours that the Trump camp are considering it, enough for quite a few write-ups about it in the media, hence I shared. And knowing her past work, there’s not that much evidence she wouldn’t jump at the chance to be heir to the “throne”.
FWIW, though, I don’t think they’ll do it — they still need the “evangelicals” and dropping Pence would cause a rift.
