Expectations. I don't ever remember Alan Ball making such a stupid decision. He didn't have the embarrassment of riches we had tonight. Criminal not to use them.

I know that all the players and fans of manchester City through our long history will have been completely bemused that in such an important game we didn't play our strongest side.
