Sane's contract indecision was enough of a shit show and he was just a player.

I think you do the players a disservice there. It was David's last season but he didnt down tools.
The players are born winners, with an appetite for success. They will play to win.
If Pep is leaving he will go out with honour.
Getting the right replacement, at the right time is going to be important, though.
 
How we go forward is anyone’s guess. We all know the changes that need to happen but will pep do what he must which is sacrifice his midfield stalwart? Pep is definitely not as ruthless as he should be with certain players but is ok to treat others with contempt. We must be missing something or pep is wrong. Maybe he has gone soft for the fight it has been a shit year for him personally and professionally with the team underachieving yet again. We can’t keep going back 2 years and patting ourselves in the back. Club has been slow to make changes in the past. We have a tendency to hold on 1 year too long.

Financially we seem in good shape but we never push the boat out anymore citing value for money or the perception that we are distorting the market. Trying to play it safe with ffp and the media is not going to work. We have tried to adhere to these fabricated set of rules and if everyone is honest ffp has stifled us from going after the absolute best and throwing shit load money at it. Anyway that off point slight

This is not a reaction to last night i said this a year ago. Pep either signs a contract extension or he goes, we should not allow a situation where he is allowed to run down his contract, the club is bigger than any individual and that includes the greatest manager ever I hope he signs a 3 year contract and the club backs him rebuilding the squad and he needs a number 2 who will say, no Pep NO
