How he can be priority target and they will wait year to sign him if they don't agree fee.
 
Reports on twitter that Garcia has been called up to the Spanish national squad. What a season he has had.

I think he's taking a risk in his career when everything seems to be working out for him however I hope it works out for him. City's academy is working only its generating players for other sides and income whereas players for our first team would be ideal.

Wouldn't be surprised if that alleged national team call was Barcelona moving in the backstage. If the board signs a player from City who's a spanish international that'd probably earn them a few more votes than signing "just" a 19 year-old center back. I'm sure Luis Enrique would comply if he was asked to do so by the Barcelona board.
 
In what world would somebody at Barça telling Garcia privately not to turn up for training get leaked to a fucking Twitter nobody? Let’s just for a second imagine it’s true, somebody very senior at Barca would have had to phone/send a text to either Garcia himself or his agent to suggest such an underhanded thing, they’re not going to be walking around camp nou accidentally leaning on the tannoy live button with him on loudspeaker saying that so the cleaner outside the stadium can overhear it and spill it to Twitter are they. what a complete load of horseshit.
