Kalidou Koulibaly

Nah
He was popular for sure, but far from a leader on the pitch
He leads by example, Pep has said it multiple times. He's not as vocal as some but it doesn't make him any less of a leader. He almost single handedly has changed the style of football and the way we think of football at the club and throughout the Premier League, if that's not the epitome of a leader, then I'm confused as fuck.

It's like some people believe that you can only lead by screaming and shouting at everyone, which is simply not the case.

The idea that a captain should be the one who shouts and screams is all well and good if you play on Hough End on a Saturday morning.
There's a bit more to it when you are a Premier league player. I've read a few times on here that Silva wasn't a good captain and I've yet to see a good reason put forward as to why that's the case.

People who scream and shout are generally bullies. Thats not leadership.

I'd like it if the captain was someone who shouted " Don't stand there with your fucking hands in the air you bunch of cunts"

There is a big difference between a leader and a good example. If you cannot see that, I can understand your cinfusion

Why ?
They have the budget of 2 years ( Last summer since they were baned + This summer )
+ Hazard money ( +100m )

I thought - but I may be wrong that @Prestwich_Blue had indicated that Chelsea had a big loss two years ago so they are struggling with the 3 year rolling average for FFP so making a profit and certainly not another loss was important to them. I suspect Chelsea will need to sell a few to balance the books - maybe Kante will go to PSG for a ridiculous fee, i wonder whether they can afford Chilwell on top of Werner and Harvitz, let alone contemplate KK.

I see we are linked with Gabriel Magalhaes this morning, the supposed Koulibaly replacement at Napoli. Id love it if we signed him and left ADL high and dry but Koulibaly is the man for us it seems and we likely want to shift at least Otamendi before we add KK to the wages. Pre season hasn't started yet so a few weeks yet before it matters.

I think that’s what is delaying this, Otamendi leaving.0

Yes he did in reply to me posting similar, said they needed to balance or only make a small loss to meet the rolling 3 year loss.

Left footed, surely ?
