He should be frustrated. England’s slip fielding has been woeful this Summer.

It's amazing that he was one bad shot away from possibly the end of his test career a week ago & few would have strongly argued against it.

very poor today england in bowling and fielding and letting them get 273 when you had them on their knees was root fault ? pakistan should have been bowled out for 120 or 170 at the most and the time lost win bite root on the bum
its about ranking points now and england need to win this test because i don't think we will play again this year so the rest will stack up the points, so like everybody was saying the weather is not looking good for the next 2 days
so the 100 runs and time lost in bowling them out england will not get back ? root let this just slip by and will mean england need some luck in the weather but it will paper over the cracks because of jimmy anderson

If try and get in Roots captaincy mind he be thinking this morning 1 nil up Pakistan miles behind they ain’t going to win so he is just thinking change the bowling around a bit the wickets will come they did we enforce the follow on we either get them win 2 nil or win the series 1 nil. Let’s hope when Anderson and Broad retire if Root is still captain he has matured and learned a hell of lot more than what he is showing.

We will win this test providing the weather gives us a day’s play and we take out catches in the 2nd innings.

Not sure about the opening slots but the rest look very good after a long time

That's an excellent 3 to 7. I would like to see bess been given more overs if he will be the primary spinner. Its not an easy thing for an English spinner to do a job in sub continent and if they are gonna be successful in sub continent they need to polish him well before that.

All about Anderson getting his 600th wicket today for me.
No crowd to see this historic event :-(
The only other bowlers to have got more are all spinners. This will really be something.
