I don't know. But I was hoping you'd tell me rather than ask it in the form of a question that doesn't answer the actual question posed.

As for the unrelated comparison to the 17 to year old.

Notice he had his hands up while running towards the armoured vehicles of the police. I.e. he was pre-empting compliance. But I'm sure you'd presume it was his race that was the key.

But even more importantly, the conditions are different.
There is a Protest/riot going on. Some out to protest, some to riot and destroy and others to loot. Funny enough it seems there are now vigilante forces who have caught on to these process. So now there seems to be a fourth group out to protect property and protestors.

Anyway, let's get back to the question: What should have those cops done?

Yeah, I'm soooo tired of it.

Being on here, trying to use reason and Humanity to people that see no problem with police crippling/ choking people or taking lives in however means they see fit.

It's mentally draining, it really is.

Maybe this isn't appropriate here and we can carry to the Trump thread (although I see all these issues an inextricably linked to the Trump presidency), but I note there's a difference between going full dictator to consolidate one's existing power and going full dictator to protect one from imminent removal (position of strength vs position of weakness). The outcomes on the populace are the same though.

Police were called because Blake had stolen some keys.
They were also aware that there was a warrant out for him for Trespassing, Domestic Violence, and 3rd degree Sexual Assault (not a mere pinch of the arse btw) - some reports have stated it was against a child but others haven't

If he was ever there to 'break up a fight' you'd have to assume that it was before the theft. Colour me skeptical...

Your question wasn't relevant. It was an attempt to do what you e done for a while i.e. not answer the question.

But your supposed relevant question was answered. It got there because a guy who was been tackled and tazed got away and continue to resist arrest as he hurried to get to his car.

It really doesn't matter what happened prior to attempts to detain him at this point, but like I said, the best guess would be the June warrant of arrest for sexual conduct with a minor.

Now, a warrant doesn't prove he did anything nor should it be ground for shooting anyone. But as it has been often pointed out he was NOT shot for having a warrant, he was not shot for failing to comply. He was NOT shot for being black. As there were many black people around had they been Racist cops who simply were looking for black people to shoot at. He was shot because in his non-compliance he created a deathly situation by opening the door to his car and reaching in.

Okay, let's get the whole story before jumping to conclusions as to how and why he was at the property. It's absolutely pointless to get bits and pieces dripping through the media.
 
Dunno what had gone on before the Rittenhouse vid doing the rounds but based on the video alone it's is a pretty clear case of self defence

We don't know why he seemingly reached down. We know, so far, that no police has displayed any weapon of any sort, to justify their actions.

As @BobKowalski has already REASONABLY argued, that Blake could have been disorientated from being tasered.

Unless, you and @Silva_Spell would like to attribute possible "excited delirium" in this instance too?

That would mean 'ExDs' would be catching like the COVID virus...
 
I tend to stay out of this forum but I wanted to share this news because I now the NBA is not very popular in the UK and this might not get much attention, but this is pretty monumental:

Milwaukee Bucks (near Kinosha, team of the likely soon to be 2x MVP) refuse to take the court for their playoff game:

Now the rest of the NBA teams are following suit:

Can't understate how monumental and powerful this is. THAT is how you use your platform!

Well, of course it would be. Kid travels from Illinois with a weapon, waltzes through police lines, no doubt high fiving a few cops on the way, kills two people and it‘s the protestors fault.

Apparently the bit before the vid is when he shot and killed someone. Maybe the person he killed reached into his car for something, that’s how it works right?

Kenosha, the city where where Jacob Blake was shot and paralyzed 3 days ago is a suburb of Milwuakee. There have been mass protests (and counter protesters who murdered some protesters last night...things are going great here guys) the past few days. So they are taking a stand and refusing to play to draw attention to the issue.

Oh, I'm aware of the riots and the alleged murders (clear case of self defence based on the vid I've seen)

Was wondering whether it was a long planned thing or a reaction to Blake
