Looking forward to Messi's reaction the first time Raz balloons one over the bar that he's laid on a plate for him.

I can't wait. He's going to raise the bar for everyone in terms of drive, concentration, acceptable mistakes, having that unshakeable belief that we are miles better than the opposition and need to show it.

Someone who is absolutely obsessed with scoring goal after goal after goal and who won't accept stupid misses is exactly what Sterling and Jesus need to make them raise their game.

Posturing by Barcelona. They need to be seen to be taking a strong stand. They want a reasonable transfer fee. I’m confident they’ll back down.

This news probably doesn't change anything. Tebas hates us and won't want to lose Messi right after losing Ronaldo. They look a bit pathetic now

It's in their best interests to say this though.

Their sponsonships and TV deals in danger ... Ronaldo has already left La Liga, Messi leaving leaves them as bad as the German League or the French ... oh, wait, at least they have Neymar and M'bappe ... so Tebas and co really worried now, his contract with Barca SHOULD have nothing to do with La Liga ... wait till UEFA also come in now and watch the 8 of ours send letters of their support to them and CAS and who not ...

I refuse to get to excited yet, but are we saying that Messi the greatest footballer to walk on this planet is trying to force a move to little old City? Unbelievable.
If if if it’s true and if it comes off, I hope we remind every fucker in the media and every set of fans every week of that.

Cheeky bet on Athletico to win La Liga next season... hmmm....

Contracts seem to matter little to players, clubs or associations these days. I really feel like the timeis right for fixed transfer fees and performance tied salaries.

I don’t think what La Liga says matters, Messi and City can go to FIFA and get an International Transfer Certificate without their approval
