End of season of 19-20 season is not a clear date especially with Covid. But if the clause had a date, did Messi and Barca agree to move it later same way we agreed with Silva he stays on a bit after his contract ended 30/06/2020.

I think there are buy-out clauses and release clauses! I am not so sure there is anything to be gained by us discussing this when one party is saying one thing, and the other another. Only way of determining it is to see the contract.

Bottom line is Messi wont be at training tomorrow so regardless of the clause(s), FCB have to find a way of resolving this. They have to talk to the player.

You are right but its different case now.


1- Messi and his legal team believe he is free and can leave for nothing.
2- Barcelona & La Liga believe the release clause of 700m is still valid

If we have to negotiate with Barca, it means Bartomeu is right and Messi can't leave without his permission.
