Not a chance he coming to us

Why after beating FFP would we go down that road again and also possibly upset the squad plus spend loads on a player for 2 seasons, one of which if it was now would mean hardly anyone seeing him play

The kid in me says do it though

No way he'd do this without knowing where he wants to go. Us and PSG must be the only viable options surely? Crazy time again, have missed this with all the sensible and secretive manner in which we do our business. Just like Limpar, Robinho, Malbranque and Stelios all over again :p

Other option is the board caves in and changes now to keep him there?
PSG has no money.

I don't believe how people think Inter Milan are any attractive destination. Just bcoz some stupid source jn Italy I Believe Gazetta Dello Sport ran some story doesn't mean he goes there. At Juventus we can understand at Inter he will play for a cry baby in Conte

If that clause is genuine, and Barcelona take this to court over a technicality of timing, at a tine of covid, it will truly be embarrassing for then and such a sad unceremonious ending to their best ever player's career there. If the clause is real, the date is immaterial, in the spirit of it the move has been asked for.

Meh this will be like kaka all over again, two things happen Bartomeu resigns and messi stays more likely or the unthinkable messi actually leaves, right it’s a chance all be it a very small one, hopefully pep, tixxi and aguero are all on the phone to Lionel..

I would also say that handing in the request when he’s on £600k a week - you only do that if you have a new contract already lined up elsewhere.
Or you’re Lionel Messi and know you can play for who you want
