My understanding from the reports is that the meeting was scheduled for this morning and then Bartomeu left the Camp Nou without seeing Jorge Messi.

If it really is a case of rescheduling then that's the same point, a man desperately trying to persaude Messi to stay wouldn't be messing his dad around like this and changing the meeting time every few minutes.

Yeah I get what you mean man! From what I understand the meeting time is up in the air. But someone also said no one sent a car for Jorgi, or greeted him. So I agree, the treatment is a bit shoddy isn't it! IF you do truly want messi to renew I'd wager it'd be a good idea to be kind!

I strip it out when responding to a question on sponsors. I very obviously was not including the (re-negotiable apparently) £65m pa kit provider in the equation when it is, alone, nearly 30% of total commercial revenue. But keep trying to make that, wholly disingenuous, point.

Be interesting how (if it happens) the deal will be structured. Not sure if it’s been covered already on BM but the collective power wealth of CFG over just City could be part of the contract I’m sure he’d go for a deal involving a few years in NYC bit like a scaled down version of the Frank deal

Exactly this. I've said all along. It ain't going to happen. We all deep down know it. From the day we got taken over we've been used as a massive bargaining tool. It's just been stept up a level.
