Still laughing at Josh wondering why Messi has done a 360, must have gone to the same shit school as me.
He was ITKMaybe the 360 will be applicable after all
goes without saying ;)Fine but he’s no allowed to play for them
The flapping is because comments have been attributed to Messi Senior and inferences made which people take in good faith. There’s some flapping on here... it’s almost certainly a tactic by Messi and his team. They ask to leave and Barca behave unreasonably- demanding €700m. The most obvious tactic - which is the one they have employed is to say okay I’ll stay, I won’t sign an extension but if you want I’ll sit here until June, I’m unhappy, you’ve irreparably damaged our relationship but you can pay me until the end of June and I’ll sign a pre contract with City in January. The ball is now in Barca’s court - pay close to £50m in wages etc to an uncommitted player who is going to undermine the Board, the fans are upset at the way a legend has been treated and this will be a long slow painful separation that will end any hopes of reelection. OR accept its over and try to get any sort of fee for him and start the rebuilding process and move on. There’s a few twists and turns to this drama yet and I really don’t think Messi sitting tight plays to anyone’s agenda.
I honestly don't understand why Barca would want to keep Messi now.
I could understand it, if he'd said fuck all, but he's given them a perfect opportunity to get his wages off the books & start to build a new team. Every team has to rebuild & he's actually given the President an easy way to start it off.
Or another dimensionMaybe the 360 will be applicable after all
Disagree, it's wrong to assume that one individual person knows exactly whats best for the club and its supporters. As I said, there are positives and negatives to both models - but don't be so quick to take any power out of members hands.
Does Messi play 45 mins for each side?Lets have a City vs Barcelona, winner gets Messi.

Explains the ratesIf he thought he was a free agent why would his old man fly over there to talk to bareclona to talk to Bart and the club ?? he would of just left, been on a plane to Manchester.
also the stories he wants a fee for the club he loves is strange , why would we waste 100 m if he thinks he’s a free man ???
All this doesn’t add up and reeks of getting a New deal / huge role at bareclona /etc ..
Also been tons and tons of money on him staying on betfair , 250k matches on the market and half of that in last few hours and majority in staying at Barcelona
..... and to add interest Messi and Walker are goalkeepers to allow Ederson to play false 9 for us and protect Leo from Gundogan’s tackles.Lets have a City vs Barcelona, winner gets Messi.
He's coming to City ... in the end that is, but still a few twists and turns to go ... so calm down, but know that in the end he's coming here ... more for Pep than City but it's one and the same thing at the moment ... give Pep another three years here on top of his four that'd take him to seven with us (and that looks very likely), add Messi for next three in the mix and by the end of it Pep would me more synonymous with City than Barca ...
If Messi comes here and performs then your argument is void. He's performed at world class level in england, Spain, and italy. Year after year. He treats his clubs with respect.
He is faster, fitter, a better striker, and more athletic.
7 years ago it was a debate. Nowadays it is
Looks like all this stress has caused my reflux to flare up #PeptoBismolinLooks like Pep flying over to beg Messi to leave has worked.
